Machine Music
A/V performance with live-coded music and real-time visuals. The project was developed during a residency at V2_ Lab for the Unstable Media and in collaboration with Nikilia. Machine Music blends algorithmic composition with generative visuals, creating a unique audio-visual experience where code becomes an instrument on stage.
It was also performed at Algorave in Amsterdam at the iconic Vondelbunker.
ABOUT
I’m Den Ree, a musician and live coder originally from Belarus, now based in Rotterdam.
I perform electronic music through live coding as part of A/V performances in what I call algo-DJ sets, as a way to tell stories and process emotions.
I build tools that support the creative process in everyday life.
My background in software development and my artistic practice complement each other, shaping how I approach product thinking, code architecture, creative technology, and musical expression.
