Machine Music
A/V performance with live-coded music and real-time visuals. The project was developed during a residency at V2_ Lab for the Unstable Media and in collaboration with Nikilia. Machine Music blends algorithmic composition with generative visuals, creating a unique audio-visual experience where code becomes an instrument on stage.
It was also performed at Algorave in Amsterdam at the iconic Vondelbunker.
ABOUT
I’m Den Ree, an electronic musician and mobile developer, originally from Belarus and based in Rotterdam. I build mobile apps and tools that support the creative process in everyday work.
I also perform live-coded music in what I call algo-DJ sets, as a way to tell stories and process emotions.
My background in software development and my artistic practice complement each other, shaping how I approach product design, code architecture, creative technology, and musical expression.
